Systems Administrator / Reliability Engineer
My roles are Software architecting and development. systems and software implementation. Ensuring
Systems observability, uptime and optimal performance. Some of the key achievements as a systems
admin / eng were:
● Setting up local computer and wifi infrastructure , operations support systems, monitoring and
logging applications for Uganda, Ghana and Liberia core networks.
● Developing inhouse business support systems for SLAs and incident management for business
operations team .
● Reviewing ICT contract technical and architectural specifications
Google Project-Link
Systems Administrator
Provided technical support and system administrative oversight for the migration of Google in-house
systems and applications from Project link to CSquared and deployed systems to address gaps in the
new startup, I also provided support to the systems engineer during migration some of my
achievements were as follows
● Customized the ticketing system and other in-house systems to use single sign on .
● Setup internal bug tracking systems and management and executive dashboards .
● Drafted the initial version of IT Data and User policies and updated standard operating
procedures for new company.
KEPHIS/Kentrade integration project
Integration Consultant
This involved the design, development and implementation of seamless Integration between KEPHIS core
operations software and Kenya National Trade Network System. This mainly involved consuming secure
web services over HTTPS and a VPN, and developing a middleware to manage transactions and store logs
of generated XML messages and documents.
